The Never Ending Job Of Parenting. Remember, parenting is never as easy as you would think it is going to be. Wouldn’t we all be the best parents if there was a parent guide? In case you do not know, parenting is the hardest job in the world. As parents, we are not going to just sit back and do nothing about our child’s misbehavior or about the situation at hand, what kind of lessons are we teaching them if we doing nothing? Children would not survive the newborn baby stage, let along be full grown adults if parents didn’t teach their kids properly.
Teach Your Kids Respect And Self-Reliance. When parents have the mind frame that giving your child things (from toys, to high tech gadgets etc. ) would make them have fond childhood memories or in a way heal your own emotional wounds by giving your children all of these materialistic things, you are interfering with your child’s development unconsciously. To be happy (blissfully) is what most parents want for their child. A child’s independence is an important part for them to learn how to earn what they want and to be empowered to make their own true happiness.
Positive Communication Builds Compliance. Your child is then less likely to oppose if he/she feels that he/she have some control of the situation when trying to gain cooperation from your child. An example of positive communication is, when your child asks “Can I watch TV now?” If your initial response to allowing your child to watch TV is “No, you can’t watch TV right now,” try saying, “You can watch TV right after dinner”.
Common Problems Between Child And Parents. We never wanted to stand out like a sore loser or to be laughed at. Going out alone is just not an option for children any more. Parents have the choice and the chance to curve your life’s path towards being a good parent. Parenting may be hard for some, while it can be easy for others.
